Interior designer Jacqueline Hosford, founder of the New York firm Jacqueline Hosford Interior Design, has a keen eye for craft, color, and custom cabinetry.

With a degree from the New York School of Interior Design and experience as a project manager at a high-end Manhattan construction company, Hosford’s combination of artistic vision and building expertise enable an amalgam of definitively deft design.

Hosford’s accomplishments range from her ability to invent spaces that leave her clients happy to earning the president-elect position for the American Association of Interior Designers (ASID) New York Metro Chapter.

Despite a clear voice and diverse style, Hosford successfully interprets her clients’ styles within any interior, urging clients to express themselves and what they ultimately feel comfortable living with.

When it comes to bringing fine art into a space, Hosford says, “Art is not a decoration. I try to find a balance between works of art that can say something on their own, but also enhance the interior.”

Impressed with the variety and skill of nAscent Art New York’s artwork and artists, Hosford expressed particular interest in Gregory Kirschenbaum’s bold abstraction and hints of narrative expression, and Yuko Ueda’s imaginitive and fantastical atmospheres.
